A Bio Split in Two Acts

ACT I
I love telling stories. I have been called many things, but I see myself as a storyteller. My first audience member was my grandfather, to whom I sang the Ducktales theme song when I was five years old. Since then, I have been playing pretend for over 25 years. I have two degrees in Dramatic Arts. I have furthered my understanding of storytelling by dabbling in singing, classical ballet, and directing. I am also a playwright who focuses on LGBTQIA+ and gender topics, and, as a Latinx-American, external racism and socioeconomic divides between cultures.

ACT II
I love helping people tell their stories. As trite as it may sound, one of my favorite quotes is from Dostoevsky: “But how could you live and have no story to tell?” I believe every person has a story to share. I have traveled across five continents, connecting with people from all walks of life and listening to their stories. I have been a copy editor for newspapers, online magazines, short stories, medical journals, and novels. I cherish the opportunities to collaborate with others; guiding authors and audiences through shared human experiences.
